We partnered with Nestlé East and Southern Africa Region (ESAR) to develop Extended Reality (XR) simulations tailored for Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) training within their operations.

Project Scope and Impact

The immersive training modules were designed to replicate critical SHE scenarios—ranging from fire safety protocols and equipment handling procedures, to chemical hazard responses and environmental compliance practices. These simulations offer employees a realistic and engaging way to learn how to respond to emergencies, identify risks, and apply best practices, all within a safe and controlled virtual environment.

By enabling hands-on training in virtual scenarios, we helped Nestlé reinforce SHE awareness, reduce exposure to physical risk during training, and ensure that key procedures are understood and retained across all teams.

Results and Innovation

Nestlé ESAR’s adoption of XR for SHE has led to a more prepared workforce, reduced training incidents, and consistent SHE compliance across regional operations. These immersive experiences have become a critical tool in promoting a proactive safety culture, aligning with Nestlé’s commitment to protecting its people, processes, and the environment.
